Shanghai Shenda America is a subsidiary of Shanghai Shenda, a Chinese textiles corporation heavily established in Asian markets. SSA is the apparel division of the corporation, focused on private label fashion. Some of their notable clients include Kirkland Signature clothing (Costco), Berkley Jensen, Moosejaw, and Red Kap Workwear. One Day Away is a fully owned brand that operates within company boundaries and is sold under brand labels in major stores nationwide.
My duties there as an intern consisted of filling shipping manifests, evaluating profit/loss statements, performing market research, analyzing internal financial and buying records, and creating proposals for new initiatives to discuss with clients.
Below is a selection of possible flannel combinations done as market research for a brand I put together in order to showcase our manufacturing potential and speed to market with unused materials and fabrics specified for the client.
